Atlas mountains and the 3 valleys
The three-valley trip covers Asni, Ourika and Oukaïmeden in one day — the widest view of the High Atlas you can get without walking. About nine hours, from €19 per person, usually with a short mule ride and tea in a Berber house.
The three valleys
- Asni, the market town at the foot of the Toubkal massif
- Oukaïmeden at 2 600 m — a ski station in winter, pasture in summer
- The Ourika valley on the way back down
In winter
From December to March there is often snow at Oukaïmeden, which is the one place near Marrakech you can see it. Bring a warm layer — it is 15 degrees colder than the city.

Is the mule ride included?
A short mule ride is usually offered on site for a few euros. It is not in the shared tour price.
