Three deserts are sold from Marrakech and they are not interchangeable. The Agafay is stone, 40 minutes away, and fits in an evening from €25. Zagora has small dunes, is 6–7 hours away, and needs two days from €69. Merzouga has the great Erg Chebbi dunes, is 9–10 hours away, and needs three days from €95. Everything on this site is priced, and you book by sending us a WhatsApp message.

Pick a tour, choose your date and how many of you there are, and press the WhatsApp button. The message arrives pre-filled — you do not have to type anything. We confirm within about two hours, and you pay in cash when you are picked up.

Can I see the Sahara desert in one day from Marrakech?
Not the real dunes. A one-day desert trip from Marrakech goes to the Agafay, a stone desert with no sand dunes. The nearest true erg is Zagora at 6–7 hours, and the great dunes are at Merzouga, 9–10 hours away.
How much is a desert tour from Marrakech?
From €25 for an Agafay evening, €69 for two days to Zagora, €95 for three days to Merzouga, and €135 for the one-way tour that finishes in Fes. Those are shared-tour prices per person.
What is the difference between shared and private?
Shared means an air-conditioned minibus with 8 to 14 people and a fixed departure time. Private means your own vehicle and driver-guide, leaving when you want. Private is roughly double the shared price for two people and drops as the group grows.
Do I have to pay in advance?
No. There is no deposit and no online payment. You confirm on WhatsApp and pay in cash when we pick you up.
Which desert has the big sand dunes?
Merzouga, where the Erg Chebbi dunes reach about 150 metres. The Agafay has no dunes at all, and the dunes near Zagora are small.
