How many days do you need?
Three days is the minimum for Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes, and it is what most people take. Four days is the same route with roughly three hours less driving per day, and it is the version people wish they had booked. Two days only reaches Zagora. One day reaches no dunes at all.

The most common thing travellers say afterwards about the 3-day is that day three was long — nine hours back to Marrakech after two short nights. Nobody regrets the 4-day for the same reason.
If your budget allows the extra €50 and your calendar allows the extra day, take four. If not, the 3-day is genuinely fine — just book the middle seat rows and sleep on day three.
